Job description
A respected health system in Los Angeles County’s South Bay region is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join its well-established 32-bed Level III community NICU. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a supportive and collegial team environment, excellent pediatric subspecialty support, and a schedule that promotes a strong work/life balance in a highly desirable coastal area.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with pediatric surgical and subspecialty teams including cardiology, GI, and ENT
Participate in the newborn service, including direct patient management and family counseling
Support designation as a California Children's Services (CCS) facility
Engage in quality initiatives such as the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC)
Work in partnership with nursing, hospital leadership, and allied health professionals
Contribute to the continuous improvement of neonatal care standards
Qualifications
Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine subspecialty certification preferred
Must reside within the local Los Angeles County area or be willing to relocate
Strong commitment to collaborative, evidence-based care
U.S. work authorization required
