An established and respected healthcare organization in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join its highly skilled neonatal team. Enjoy practicing in a collaborative environment within an accredited Level III NICU with 21 beds and a 14-bed Birth Place, serving the Ark-La-Tex region.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with obstetric, pediatric, and nursing teams to deliver comprehensive maternal and infant care
Participate in neonatal resuscitation and delivery room management
Provide family-centered education and support
Contribute to continuous improvement in patient safety and clinical outcomes
Participate in teaching and mentoring opportunities, if desired
Qualifications
Louisiana Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical and communication skills
Commitment to evidence-based neonatal care
