We are seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join our expanding neonatology team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading group within Pediatrix Medical Group, offering state-of-the-art neonatal care in a vibrant and growing community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based neonatology care to newborn patients in Level III NICUs at Mountain View Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists such as neurologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, and surgeons, to deliver individualized patient treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic neonatal conditions, utilizing advanced NICU therapies including high-frequency ventilation, body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and teaching opportunities within a tertiary care setting.
- Engage in on-call duties and weekend coverage, with schedule flexibility to be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neonatology through the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Nevada.
- Recent graduates through 2025 are encouraged to apply.

Practice Highlights:

Mountain View Hospital:
- 24-bed Level III NICU with an average census of 24 patients.
- Advanced technologies including high-frequency ventilation, body cooling, and iNO.
- Full pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery.
- Part of a 425-bed teaching hospital in a rapidly growing area of Northwest Las Vegas.

Southern Hills Hospital:
- 15-bed Level III NICU with an average census of 5 patients.
- Pediatric cardiology and surgical services available.
- Modern facility located in Spring Valley, a desirable Las Vegas suburb.

Both sites are part of the Sunrise Health System, which includes Sunrise Children’s Hospital with a Level IV NICU, providing extensive resources and collaborative opportunities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting base salary of $250,000 for recent Fellows, with competitive increases based on experience.
