Job Title: Physician - Neonatology
Join a collaborative and dedicated four-physician neonatology group in Appleton, Wisconsin. As part of a respected facility, you will work at a 15-bed Level III NICU, offering neonatal care services, including iNO, HFOV, whole body cooling, and teleneurology. Job Responsibilities:
- Caring for patients in a 15-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 6.
- Managing the newborn nursery that has an average daily census of 5.
- Collaborating with an experienced neonatal team to deliver top-notch care.
- Providing NICU services including advanced therapies and telemedicine.
- Engaging in monthly high-risk infant follow-up clinics in partnership with maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
- Maintaining a flexible schedule with eight 24-hour in-house shifts per month.
- Participating in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives through a national network.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Wisconsin Medical License or willingness to obtain.
- Neonatology experience is required.
- Clean Malpractice/License History is highly preferred.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) is required.
- DEA must be obtained prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Wisconsin Medical License or be willing to obtain one.
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is required.
- DEA certification is required prior to starting.
