Med Ninjas is seeking a Neonatologist for long term permanent coverage at a inpatient facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from TBD to ongoing

Position Type: Permanent

Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborns requiring neonatal intensive care, including high-risk deliveries and newborn nursery patients
Setting: 8-bed Level III NICU and 10 LDR couplet care rooms
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care, attend and manage high-risk deliveries, manage approximately 9–11 patients daily, participate in newborn nursery care, mentor NICU nursing and respiratory teams, develop clinical protocols, support NICU program growth, and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Required Procedures: High-risk delivery management and advanced neonatal care; specific procedures not separately specified
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 2 Neonatologists, 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, and respiratory therapy staff
Days Per Month: Full-time, week-on/week-off
On-Call/Weekends: Home call during assigned week, 24 hours/day for 7 consecutive days; weekends included during assigned week
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology
- Virginia Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Neonatology experience; most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days and DEA required prior to start
