Med Ninjas is seeking a Neonatologist for long term permanent coverage at a inpatient facility in Macon, Georgia
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from TBD to ongoing
Permanent Neonatologist
Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Flexible rotating neonatology coverage with rounding and shared call schedule
Start Date: TBD
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
Patient Population: Critically ill and premature newborns
Setting: Level III NICU
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care, manage critically ill and premature newborns, participate in rounding and shared call, support evidence-based neonatal care and quality improvement, and educate/mentor pediatric residents
Required Procedures: High-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling, and advanced neonatal therapies
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 7 neonatologists, 6 NNPs, pediatric subspecialists, pediatric surgery support, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared neonatology call coverage and rotating weekend NICU coverage
Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Georgia Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Completed Neonatology fellowship/training
- Neonatology experience; experienced candidates only
