Med Ninjas is seeking a Neonatology Physician for Permanent coverage at a inpatient facility located in Carrollton, GA
This assignment includes Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, Level-III NICU, newborn care, and on call weekend.

Permanent Neonatology Physician
Shift: Daytime clinical rounding in NICU and newborn unit with ongoing clinical oversight
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details: Full-time position providing neonatology coverage in a Level-III NICU with 10 beds and approximately 1,000 annual births, plus a 20-bed newborn unit
Patient Population: Newborns, premature infants, and critically ill neonates
Setting: Level-III NICU and newborn unit
Responsibilities: Perform daily rounding, provide clinical oversight and management of critically ill and premature infants, support admissions and stabilization, collaborate with nursing staff and NNPs, and participate in home-based call coverage
Required Procedures: Neonatal admissions, stabilization, and management of critically ill and premature infants
EMR System:
Support Staff: Full-time daytime NNP coverage and 3-physician neonatal staffing model
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule; exact hours not specified
On-Call/Weekends: Home call coverage rotation for NICU responsibilities; weekend coverage as part of shared/rotating coverage model

Neonatal Intensive Care, Newborn Care, Admissions and Stabilization

Requirements

• TRULY Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Active GA License or willingness to obtain
• Neonatology training/fellowship required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Neonatology experience required; experienced candidates only
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days active
