Med Ninjas is seeking a Neonatology Physician for Permanent locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Topeka, KS
This assignment includes Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, Level-III NICU, advanced neonatal therapies, and on call weekend.

Permanent Neonatology Physician
Shift: Six to seven 24-hour in-house shifts per month plus six to seven 8-hour day shifts per month
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist joining a 5-physician and NNP team in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU with an average daily census of 26 patients
Patient Population: Neonates requiring intensive care
Setting: Level-III NICU
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care, manage advanced neonatal therapies, collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, and participate in multidisciplinary patient care coverage
Required Procedures: High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
Support Staff: 5 neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology subspecialty support
Days Per Month: Six to seven 24-hour in-house shifts plus six to seven 8-hour day shifts
On-Call/Weekends: Potential call and weekend duties as per department policy

High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling and aEEG

Requirements

• TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of fellowship working toward BC or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Active KS License or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days active
• J1 visa candidates are eligible for visa sponsorship
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
