Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for per diem locum coverage at Summerville Medical Center, located just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Join a collaborative team of experienced Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) providing high-quality care in a Level III NICU.
Candidates must be available for one or more of the following coverage dates:
- August 29 – September 4
- September 12 – September 18
- October 10 – October 16
Schedule
24-hour coverage consisting of daily NICU rounding with call from home or your hotel.
Practice
This Level III NICU has an average daily census of 14 and offers on-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine support. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of Neonatologists and NNPs dedicated to delivering exceptional neonatal care.
Responsibilities
- Daily NICU rounding
- Inpatient neonatal care
- Call coverage from home or hotel
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Neonatology
- Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA required
