Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to provide high-quality clinical care in a well-established 32-bed Level III community NICU with an average daily census of 12 newborns. The role involves collaboration with pediatric subspecialty teams to manage complex neonatal cases, participation in newborn services, and contribution to quality improvement initiatives. This is a permanent, full-time position in the scenic South Bay region of Los Angeles County.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with pediatric surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, ENT, and other subspecialists.
• Participate in family counseling and support, ensuring compassionate communication.
• Engage in quality improvement programs, including California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative initiatives.
• Maintain a collegial and team-focused work environment while supporting work-life balance.
Qualifications
• California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 in-house coverage.
• Clean malpractice and medical license history preferred.
• Residency or relocation to the local area required.
