A medical services company in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join their staff as their new Human Resources Director. In this role, the Human Resources Director will be responsible for providing full-cycle Human Resources partnership to help the company achieve ambitious growth targets, including designing and executing our people strategies and initiatives, talent management, leadership effectiveness and people performance.

Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Director will:
  • Partner with the HR leadership along with key business stakeholders to conceive, create and implement a robust employee experience
  • Act as an active and visible HR Partner to provide input, strong influence and counsel on HR-related matters to successfully meet business growth objectives and drive improvements
  • Provide HR leadership by designing and implementing holistic and ambitious people strategies
  • Lead critical HR and people strategic priorities such as defining and evolving leader, manager and employee coaching, employee engagement, performance management, total rewards, development, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and change management
  • Work with the Managers to identify staffing and recruiting needs for business growth
  • Help facilitate the movement of internal talent through mobility programs
  • Provide counsel, advice and recommendations to managers ensuring proper handling of constructive employee relations
  • Maintain knowledge of People trends, industry best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply knowledge to continuously evolve employee practices and policies
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or a related field
  • Experience with Benefits Administration, Compensation, Employee Relations, Pensions, Recruitment, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Labor laws for the U.S.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment.
  • Blend of HR and/or non-HR work career experiences considered favorably.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
