Hospital in northwestern Tennessee is seeking an experience Internal or Family Medicine physician to lead their team as Medical Director of Hospitalists. This well established group consists of six physicians and one APP. Minimum of one year in hospital medicine as a leader in an associate medical director or director-level role.. Standard rotation is 7-days on and 7-days off, spanning Monday through Sunday. Provide high-quality care through a daily rounding model involving three providers, with an average patient census of 12-15 per provider. On-call periods include admissions ranging from zero to a maximum of four to five patients. Work alongside advanced practice providers (APPs) from Bethel University to contribute to teaching and expanding educational services. Open ICU.
