Med Ninjas is seeking a Medical Director - Primary Care for long term locum tenens coverage at a outpatient facility located in Brattleboro, VT
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date
Permanent Medical Director - Primary Care
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Primary Care
Location: Vermont
Shift: Daytime outpatient clinic and clinical leadership schedule
Start Date: Upon credentialing
End Date: Permanent
Position Details:
Patient Population: Primary care patients
Setting: Multi-site outpatient primary care network across four primary care locations
Responsibilities: Provide direct primary care, serve as Medical Director for a 50-provider primary care group, provide clinical leadership and oversight, develop clinical protocols, lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, mentor clinicians, support recruitment and retention, and collaborate with administrative and practice leadership
Required Procedures: Comprehensive primary care and clinical leadership responsibilities
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing staff, practice managers, counselors, and administrative teams
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Phone-only call coverage, 1:11 rotation
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of ambulatory care experience and demonstrated clinical leadership experience
- Valid Vermont Medical License or willing to obtain
- Valid Vermont DEA License and CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
