PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The primary purpose of the CMO is to provide oversight for clinical care, clinical operations leadership, and behavioral health leadership. Responsible for quality management plan and provides direct patient care services at 0.3 FTE. This role reports to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTIONS:

Collaborative Physician Leadership and Nurse Practitioner Clinical Supervision:

  • Determine strategic direction for the clinic
  • Facilitate excellent working relationships
  • Provide collaborative supervision to the following medical providers
  • Behavioral Health Program Supervision
  • Clinical Care
  • Growth of Pharmacy Program
  • Clinical Operations
  • Provide oversight and guidance for clinical operations goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DO or MD degree
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current, valid OH medical license
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a healthcare leadership position required
  • Previous FQHC experience preferred
  • Previous quality improvement experience preferred
  • Previous experience with integrated medical and behavioral health teams preferred
