Healthcare United is seeking a Lead Primary Care Physician to join a mission-driven healthcare organization in Dayton, Ohio.
This is a full-time outpatient primary care opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician or Family Medicine Physician interested in clinical leadership, value-based care, chronic disease management, and team-based patient care. The Lead PCP will provide direct patient care while supporting providers, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
Job Responsibilities
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Support preventive care, wellness visits, and follow-up care
Lead and support clinical staff and providers
Collaborate with nursing, APPs, behavioral health, pharmacy, care management, and support staff
Participate in care planning and population health initiatives
Support quality metrics and improved patient outcomes
Provide same-day, next-day, and urgent visits as needed
Help mentor physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care
Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain
Primary care experience required
Leadership experience preferred
Experience with value-based care or complex patient populations preferred
Strong communication and team-based care skills

Working Hours
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
