๐ฉบ Role Overview
As Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership, medical oversight, and care coordination for a comprehensive senior care program.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide medical direction and supervision of participant care

Conduct history & physical exams for new participants and reassessments

Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
-
Supervise Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
-
Oversee clinical outcomes and quality improvement programs
-
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
-
Guide families and participants on care decisions and health management
-
Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Participate in provider on-call rotation

Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Help shape medical policies, protocols, and standards

Participate in care conferences and family discussions

๐ Requirements
-
Active Massachusetts Physician License
-
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Geriatrics experience preferred
-
DEA registration and CDS certification
-
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
-
Experience working with elderly or frail patient populations
-
Strong clinical judgment and chronic disease management skills
