We are experiencing continued growth and expansion of Emergency Medicine services and are seeking a Medical Director of Emergency Medicine to provide both clinical leadership and patient care for all affiliated sites/locations.

Position Overview

The Medical Director of Emergency Medicine is responsible for the clinical oversight, operational leadership, and delivery of emergency medical services in accordance with Mon Health policies, quality standards, and evidence-based practices. This role combines hands-on clinical care with administrative and leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes and an efficient, collaborative care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency and inpatient clinical care, including patient stabilization, resuscitation, and coordination of care

• Serve as clinical leader for Emergency Department physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff

• Ensure compliance with evidence-based clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and hospital policies

• Collaborate with hospital leadership to support quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and operational efficiency

• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans to ensure seamless transitions across departments and services

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of Emergency Medicine providers

• Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
