A multi-specialty healthcare group in New York City is looking for an Senior Associate Medical Director to help oversee their clinic in Brooklyn.

About this Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (one Saturday a month)
  • Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (one late night 11am to 7pm is expected)
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Patient Volume: 15 to 20 per day

Responsibilities:

The Senior Associate Medical Director - Primary Care will handle both clinical (70%) and administrative (30%) duties at the facility, including

  • Providing medical guidance and direction to clinical staff
  • Overseeing the delivery of medical services and ensure high-quality patient care
  • Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Managing clinical staff and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in a Family or Internal Medicine
  • Active NYS Medical License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

  • 5+ years experience in clinical setting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Experience in FQHC
