A multi-specialty healthcare group in New York City is looking for an Senior Associate Medical Director to help oversee their clinic in Brooklyn.
About this Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (one Saturday a month)
- Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (one late night 11am to 7pm is expected)
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 15 to 20 per day
Responsibilities:
The Senior Associate Medical Director - Primary Care will handle both clinical (70%) and administrative (30%) duties at the facility, including
- Providing medical guidance and direction to clinical staff
- Overseeing the delivery of medical services and ensure high-quality patient care
- Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Managing clinical staff and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in a Family or Internal Medicine
- Active NYS Medical License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years experience in clinical setting
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Experience in FQHC
