A community health center serving the residents of the Providence, Rhode Island area is adding a Medical Director of Specialty Services.

About the position:

• Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer
• Plan and deliver a broad range of specialty services as they relate to primary care
• Guide teams of specialists including but not limited to Dental, Optometry, Podiatry, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Allergy and Immunology and Medication Assisted Treatment to assure the delivery of high quality, safe, and effective healthcare
• Ensure the cohesive, productive, and efficient collaboration of medical clinicians in the achievement of high-quality clinical outcomes and patient access
• Provide direct clinical care regularly at 0.6 FTE and when possible, to assist with vacation coverage and special situations throughout the organization

• Largest Federally Qualified Health Center in the state, serving more than 60,000 patients
• Fully integrated EMR
• Leadership experience preferred
