A great group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced part-time Medical Director (Board certified in either Pediatrics or Family Practice).
Candidates should have 5+ years of senior level position(s) with supervisory responsibilities, and 5+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric ambulatory delivery system. The schedule will be discussed with the client directly. Basic job responsibilities include: medical leadership for utilization management, cost containment, medical quality improvement, ability to thoroughly interpret and renegotiate payer contracts, develop and update clinical policies and procedures at all locations, and more.
