One of the largest community health centers in the Boston area with 100,000 patients and more than 400,000 annual visits is adding a Medical Director of Behavioral Health Urgent Care.

Practice Opportunity

The Medical Director will work closely with operations leadership to ensure all patients obtain timely and safe access to both behavioral health and psychiatric care.

  • 12 clinical hours (15 payroll hours) will be spent in clinical care in recovery services
  • 25 administrative hours will be spent in Recovery Services
  • Ensure the standard of care and quality of care for medication-assisted treatment for addiction
  • Works closely with Behavioral Health and Primary Care to ensure whole-person care of all patients
  • Oversees Clinical Quality Management of the department
  • Assists the department in annual performance improvement projects
  • Board certification in adult and/or child psychiatry with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, 1 year experience in acute psychiatry, and 2 years of medical leadership experience.
