Anesthesiology Residency Program Director

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to be the residency director for anesthesiology. Candidates should be willing to oversee the launch of a new anesthesiology residency program in El Paso at University Medical Center.


Position Overview:

  • Oversee the launch of a new anesthesiology residency program
  • Seeking experience and education commensurate with rank of associate professor or higher
  • Since it is a new program, clinical service, teaching and non-clinical responsibilities are to be determined
  • Compensation at associate professor level $470,000 ($410,000 salary plus $60,000 call coverage)
  • Relocation assistance and signing bonus
  • CME allowance of $5,000
