Description:
Seeking a Board-Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician for a comprehensive MFM assignment in Pennsylvania. The role combines outpatient high-risk obstetric consultations, obstetrical ultrasound, inpatient MFM care, and home call coverage in a high-acuity academic setting. The physician will also work with MFM APPs, fellows, and residents.
Job Responsibilities
Perform obstetrical ultrasound services
Provide inpatient MFM coverage
Conduct antepartum and postpartum rounds
Perform inpatient MFM consultations
Perform cerclage procedures
Participate in selected deliveries
Provide home MFM beeper call and Labor & Delivery backup
Supervise MFM APPs, fellows, and residents
Participate in weekend inpatient rounds
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license required
MFM fellowship required
Experience in high-risk obstetrics
Experience providing inpatient and outpatient MFM care
Comfortable working in an academic teaching environment
Cerner experience preferred
Working Hours
Inpatient: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:30 PM
30-minute lunch break
Home MFM beeper call
Weekend inpatient rounding
Friday 5:30 PM–Saturday 7:00 AM call/backup
Saturday inpatient rounds
Sunday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM call/backup
Start: ASAP
Assignment through March 31, 2027
