Maternal Fetal Medicine Job in Memphis, TN | Fetal Imaging & Ultrasound Leadership
Job at a glance
Job description
Help rebuild a fetal diagnostic and ultrasound program with a history of strength in advanced fetal imaging and an opportunity to influence what comes next. This academic MFM position is intentionally focused on fetal imaging, ultrasound, and genetics, creating a distinct path for a physician who wants to concentrate expertise in this area rather than maintain a traditional maternal-heavy practice. The department is particularly interested in an experienced physician who can bridge its senior and younger faculty while mentoring the next generation of MFM specialists. For the right candidate, there is a meaningful succession pathway toward Director of Ultrasound, with timing dependent on prior experience and a thoughtful transition with current leadership. Relationships with neighboring pediatric and specialty programs also create exposure to structurally abnormal fetuses, fetal cardiac disease, and select rare maternal conditions. It is an opportunity to combine specialized clinical work, academics, mentorship, and program building in a setting where your expertise can have a visible impact.
