- Regional referral area includes:
- Northern Minnesota
- Northwest Wisconsin
- Upper Peninsula of Michigan
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Established Maternal Fetal Medicine program
- Consultative role managing low- to high-risk pregnancies
- Large volume of maternal obstetric complications
- Opportunity to participate in OB ultrasound interpretation
- Teaching opportunities with:
- Medical students
- Family Medicine residents
- OB fellows
- Collaborative team includes:
- Maternal Fetal Medicine physician
- 14 General OB/GYN physicians
- Genetic counselors
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Full pediatric subspecialty support:
- Fetal Cardiology
- Pediatric Urology
- Pediatric Rheumatology
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Pediatric Endocrinology
- Level III NICU
- In-house aeromedical transport team
- NICU average daily census: 13
- Approximately 1,500 births annually
