Locums | Maternal-Fetal Medicine | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Wausau, WI
Assignment Details
* Start Date: 7/20/2026
* End Date: 12/31/2026
* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
* Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
* EMR: Epic
* Clinic Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4p
* Call Type: Beeper
* Call Response Time: 30 minutes
* Phone Consults: Occasional
* Support includes RN, MA, and imaging staff
* Full-time coverage needed with option for 2 providers splitting coverage (2 weeks/month)
* Urgent credentialing (~30 days)
Requirements
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
* BLS
* Clean history
* Wisconsin license preferred (WI Act 10 accepted)
Clinical Details
* Maternal-Fetal Medicine coverage
* High-risk pregnancy management
* Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) and HELLP syndrome
* Gestational and pre-existing diabetes management
* Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurologic, autoimmune, and hematologic conditions in pregnancy
* VBAC management
* Vaginal breech delivery
* Placenta previa and abruption cases
* Multiple gestation pregnancies
* Operative deliveries (C-sections, forceps, vacuum)
* Amniocentesis (genetic)
* Cervical cerclage
* Intrauterine transfusion
* Multifetal reduction procedures
* Ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level II and echocardiography)
* Fetal blood sampling
* Chorionic villus sampling
* Occasional phone-based consult coverage only for nights and weekends
