Maternal & Fetal Medicine Opportunity – Albany, NY
Quick Screening Snapshot (Key Details)
- Location: Albany, New York
- Position Type: Permanent (No locums)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call: 1:3 rotation
- Practice Setting: Office-based with hospital call responsibilities
- Start Date: Before November 14
- Reason for Opening: Provider resignation
Licensure & Credentialing Requirements
- Board Certification: Required OR truly Board Eligible (Maternal & Fetal Medicine)
- Board Status: Must be current (no lapsed certification accepted)
- New York Medical License: Required or ability to obtain
- DEA: Required
Candidate Restrictions
- No visa sponsorship
- No locum candidates
- Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
- No candidates with lapsed board certification
Practice Overview
- Join a team of 3 physicians
- Office-based practice with rotating hospital call
- Average daily volume:
- Approximately 10–15 patients (varies by visit type and call volume)
- No supervision of other healthcare providers required
Clinical Resources
- Onsite lab services
- Onsite ultrasound
- Level III nursery support
- EMR: Epic
Schedule & Coverage Details
- Outpatient clinic during weekdays
- Shared call rotation (1:3)
- Combination of scheduled visits and call-based patient volume
