The facility offers advanced high-risk obstetric care with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative medical team focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Job Details:
• Provide maternal-fetal medicine services for hospital call coverage from Friday, May 22 @ 7AM - Tuesday, May 26 @ 7AM
• Handle 25-30 patient encounters per shift with comprehensive high-risk obstetric care
• Manage pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) and HELLP syndrome cases
• Treat patients with diabetes (Type I, II, and gestational)
• Care for patients with cardiac disorders (Class II or higher), pulmonary, renal, and neurological disorders
• Handle autoimmune disorders, hematologic/oncologic conditions, and collagen vascular disease
• Perform VBAC's, vaginal breech deliveries, and manage placenta previa/abruption cases
• Manage multiple gestation pregnancies and perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Conduct instrument-assisted deliveries (forceps, vacuum, etc.)
• Perform amniocentesis-genetic procedures and cervical cerclage
• Provide intrauterine transfusion and multifetal pregnancy reduction services
• Conduct and interpret ultrasounds including Level II/Targeted and echocardiography
• Perform fetal blood sampling and chorionic villus sampling
• Must be board certified with active Texas medical license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Baptist Hospital privileges preferred but not required

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
