This well-established healthcare system provides comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine services across multiple locations. The facility features a collaborative environment with advanced diagnostic capabilities, including onsite ultrasound with GE 10 equipment, and a strong support team including RN clinic educators, sonographers, genetic counselors, and front office staff.

Opportunity:
Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Details:
• Coverage at St. Francis Medical Center with office and inpatient responsibilities
• Average of 27 scheduled patients per day in a practice focused 95% on high-risk pregnancies
• Work alongside another provider in a 2-provider service model with NP support
• Utilize 3 exam rooms with onsite ultrasound capabilities and GE 10 equipment
• Manage complex cases including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage procedures
• Handle high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, and chromosomal abnormalities
• Provide care for congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, and genetic disorders
• Support both vaginal and cesarean births for high-risk maternal and fetal cases
• Document using EPIC and Viewpoint systems
• Level III nursery support available
• Board Certified/Board Eligible MFM with fellowship training required
• Virginia license, BLS certification, and AIUM certification preferred
• On-call responsibilities include weekdays and weekends
• 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
