Position Type Outpatient MFM Specialist – No Call About the Role We are seeking a passionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our Tampa MFM team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative, physician-led environment. This is an outpatient-only position with no on-call duties. Clinical Role: Provide expert MFM consultation, risk assessment, and management for high-risk obstetric patients in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes. Contribute to patient education and informed decision-making. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence activities within a physician-led organization. Team and Environment: Supportive team of 18 staff members, including 7 sonographers, 1 RN, 1 medical assistant, 1 LPN, and 2 patient representatives. Access to state-of-the-art equipment: 2 NST machines, 8 ultrasound machines, and 3 offices. EMR: eClinicalWorks; GE Viewpoint. Professional Development and Practice Support: Clinical excellence initiatives led by a physician-led organization. Participation in physician-driven committees. Access to local and regional medical director support. Cohort-based professional networks. Annual Women’s Care Provider Summit with CME opportunities. Qualifications MD or DO degree 1–2 years of MFM experience preferred. Current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain one. Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain. Board eligibility in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOBOG) required; board certification required within 5 years of eligibility; ongoing employment contingent upon certification.
