Facility:
This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility featuring a comprehensive women's health program with state-of-the-art technology including a Level 3A NICU and helicopter service. The facility utilizes Epic EMR system and provides strong support with a robust multidisciplinary team approach to maternal and fetal care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Job Details:
• Coverage needed for February 13, 14, 15, 16
• Must be an experienced perinatologist with PA State License and active PA DEA
• Board Certification through ABO+G with a subspecialty in MFM required
• Must have completed ACGME or AOA accredited residency in OB/GYN and fellowship in MFM
• Practice in a multi-specialty group setting with 6 total providers (2 Perinatologists, 3 OB/GYN, 1 GYN)
• Strong support staff includes 2 Neonatologists, 3 CRNPs, 5 CNMs, and 7 NICU in-house midlevel providers
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient care
• Manage approximately 30 outpatients and 10 inpatients daily
• Handle approximately 5 deliveries per week
• 15-minute C-section response time required
• Certified Nurse Midwives take 1st call (no weekend requirements)
• Manage high-risk pregnancies including PIH, HELLP syndrome, diabetes, cardiac disorders, and multiple gestations
• Perform procedures including amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, ultrasounds (Level II/Targeted), and fetal assessments
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 10 days
• Must have ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Hospital will arrange lodging accommodations
