The facility features advanced maternal-fetal medicine services with state-of-the-art equipment including GE 10 ultrasound technology and a Level III Nursery, ensuring high-quality care for high-risk pregnancies.
Opportunity:
Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Job Details:
• Locum tenens position providing support during recruitment period • Practice setting includes both office and inpatient coverage • Average of 27 scheduled patients per day • Work as part of a 2-provider service with one provider covering St. Mary's Hospital and another covering St. Francis Medical Center • Team supported by a rotating NP, RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, and front office team • 95% high-risk pregnancy cases and 5% low-risk pregnancy cases • Perform specialized procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling • Manage complex cases including pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, and other maternal-fetal co-morbidities • Cerclage skills preferred • On-call responsibilities from 5pm-8am • Work with EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems • Three exam rooms with onsite ultrasound capabilities • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine • Fellowship training required • Must have active Virginia medical license and BLS certification • AIUM Certification preferred • 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
