Location: Known as “The American Riviera”, Santa Barbara, California is quietly nestled between the ocean & the mountains and is located two hours north of Los Angeles. Facility: The region’s leading provider of perinatal services specializing in the care of women experiencing high-risk pregnancies, they treat conditions including diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, abnormal placentation, pre-term delivery, multiple gestations, recurrent miscarriage, family history of genetic diseases, suspected fetal birth defects and other such complications.

Facility: The region’s leading provider of perinatal services specializing in the care of women experiencing high-risk pregnancies, they treat conditions including diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, abnormal placentation, pre-term delivery, multiple gestations, recurrent miscarriage, family history of genetic diseases, suspected fetal birth defects and other such complications.
Opportunity:
- Days in the office, Monday though Friday, and on-call at night (mostly phone coverage) every third
- Call schedule divided by three (handled mostly by phone)
- The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, have strong clinical skills in both inpatient and outpatient Perinatology, and strong sonography and prenatal diagnostic skills.
- Consultative-only practice with one office location
- Based out of a 400-bed state-of-the-art Level-I Trauma Center with a Level-III NICU and helicopter transport service
- Group provides prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS and fetal echocardiography.
- Group works collaboratively with OB Hospitalists.
- Fully staffed there are 2.5 MFMs.
- Days in the office, Monday though Friday, and on-call at night (mostly phone coverage) every third
- Candidates must have strong ultrasound skills (limited sonographer support in this practice).
