First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking to employ an experienced Internal Medicine physician for their growing group. The practice is located in desirable Lakewood Ranch, a gorgeous master planned community situated in southwest Florida, on the Gulf Coast, just about 20 minutes east of downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key, and less than an hour south of Tampa. The Ranch is really the size of a town. At 50 square miles, it’s filled with shopping, dining, arts, entertainment, nature, recreation and close to the beautiful beaches that line the Gulf of Mexico. This family friendly community has top rated schools and lots of activities for people of all ages.

With 260+ Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in 29 different specialties and 42 practice locations, it is backed by the tradition and strength of Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Highlights of the position:

• Join an established practice of (3) three Internal Medicine Physicians.
• The new position is due to growth in the market.
• Practice Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.
• Outpatient only. The practice uses the Medical Hospitalists to cover inpatients.
• Physicians will see approximately 18-21 patients per day in the office.
• No hospital call. Nights and weekend practice coverage will be shared with the other internal medicine physicians in the group.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, 2 to 5+ years of practice experience preferred.
• Physicians have sovereign immunity.
• We are a not-for-profit Physicians can participate in the PSLF program if employed by FPG.

Employment contracts include a generous 2 year guaranteed salary with bonus potential along with excellent comprehensive benefits - health, dental, vision, disability, life, 403B, CME, PTO, and 7 paid holidays among many other benefits. After two years, physician can move to a pay model which guarantees a higher salary. Relocation assistance and other perks will be provided.
