This Central Georgia Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine physician to start new hospital-employed outpatient family medicine practices. The Medical Center currently has several employed family medicine and surgical specialty practices. We are currently establishing offices in the fastest growing parts of the county as we are experiencing substantial community growth. Plans include staffing each center with an experienced provider and build (NPs/PAs/Additional Physicians) as each location grows in volume. This position will require seven days per month covering inpatient city call at Perry Hospital. Typical census on the city call service is 8-10 patients. There is an experienced NP on the inpatient service that handles a large portion of patient management during the weekdays.
