Location: One hour to Baltimore two hours to Philadelphia and 3 hours to Pittsburgh. Progressive city in Pennsylvania third largest city in the state with airport and amenities of a metro area. This city has it all...From modern downtown condominiums and townhouses to historic homes in quiet neighborhoods. It has everything for singles couples and families. Penn State University and other nationally recognized universities within a short drive. Facility: Large Health System with academic affiliations is searching to add to their primary care network. Opportunity: Seeking a Board Certified Internist for a Faculty position. Will need to teach and supervise residents (the program has approximately 44 total) as well as work on the teaching service teams in the hospital and at the outpatient clinics. Will work a Monday through Friday schedule and rotate between 2 weeks of Outpatient and 2 weeks of Inpatient a month. Will see around 16 patients a day on service and pre-cepting varies but ratio is 1 attending to up to 4 residents. Will join 6 attendings and are seeking 2-3 more to join. Would be helpful to be comfortable with procedures but not necessary. Compensation: Excellent salary and incentive packages.
