Day Hospitalist Opening in New Britain, CT
Located in New Britain, CT; Hartford 15m
Full time; 7 on 7 off; 12 hour daytime shifts
Overview
* A 443 bed, mid size community teaching hospital that is part of a large health system is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine hospitalist to join its daytime Hospital Medicine team
* Well supported, collaborative hospitalist program with opportunities to contribute to clinical excellence, teaching and quality initiatives
* Comprehensive inpatient medical management: admissions, rounding and care coordination, working with specialists, nursing and case management
* Participate in rapid response and hospital wide initiatives, committee work, quality improvement and teaching or mentorship
* Diverse Internal Medicine patient population with robust subspecialty coverage and interdisciplinary teams
* Collegial, team oriented, physician led environment
Qualifications
* Board Certified in Internal Medicine
* 3 to 5 years of hospital medicine or inpatient experience preferred
* Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut
* Interest in teaching, leadership or program development
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: about $210,000 to $412,000 (posted as $100.96 to $198.03 per hour, paid on a salary basis), plus incentives
