Job description
Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Illinois with a predictable weekday clinic schedule and no call. You will see a Medicare-heavy panel with steady primary care volume and solid clinic support.
Highlights
- No call requirements.
- Fast credentialing; credentialing timeframe is about 30 days using AXUALL.
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule.
- Manageable volume, 16 to 18 patients per day.
- Bi-lingual Spanish-- Physician or APP required
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting.
- Medicare population, majority of patients are age 65 plus.
- Traditional primary care, common conditions include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, mild cognitive impairment, CHF, history of coronary artery disease.
- Support includes nurse practitioners, MA or scribe support, and RNs supporting the clinic as a whole.
Schedule
- Weekday coverage, Monday through Friday.
- Clinic hours are 8AM to 5PM.
- ASAP need with a minimum commitment of 3 months.
- No call.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine also listed as acceptable for board certification requirements.
- Active Illinois license required, they will not wait for a license.
- DEA required, drug screen required.
