Job description
Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in New York with a straightforward weekday clinic schedule and no call. You will see traditional primary care for an older, Medicare-heavy panel with a manageable daily volume.
Highlights
- No call required.
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule, full time need.
- Fast credentialing process, about 30 days.
- Patient volume averages 16 to 18 patients per day.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting.
- Medicare population, majority of patients are 65+.
- Primary care case mix includes diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, mild cognitive impairment, CHF, and CAD history.
- Support includes nurse practitioners, MA or scribe support, and clinic RNs.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
- Full time coverage requested.
- No call responsibilities.
- ASAP need with a minimum 3 month commitment.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- New York medical license required, will not wait for license.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- DEA required.
