JOB DESCRIPTION:
Healthcare system in the Las Vegas, Nevada metro area is seeking a Family/Internal Medicine Physician to join their team. Shared call. Competitive compensation with full benefits will be included

Responsible for providing Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients.
How you will make an impact:
- Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients.
- Educates patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection.
- Provides referrals based on examination and patient needs.
- Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.
- Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations.
- Completes medical records (EMR) documentation daily.
- Covers night calls as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a MD or DO.
- Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board eligibility or board certification.
- DEA license required.
- Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position. [Register to View] this telephone triage only or are inpatient duties required also? all telephonic
- If some inpatient duties, will the providers need to cover a hospital/ER also? No hospital work
- How frequent is the night call- On phone call one night a week after hours. and one weekend every six weeks all on the phone. 24 hours on the weekends.
