- Provide Gastroenterology coverage in a hospital and endoscopy setting.
- Perform EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, and sigmoidoscopy procedures.
- Perform PEG/PEG-J tube placements.
- Review pathology results and communicate recommended patient letters and follow-up instructions to nursing staff.
- Complete all required charting and work documentation independently.
- Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage.
- Manage an average of approximately 12 patients per day.
Required
- Active Michigan medical license.
- Gastroenterology clinical and procedural experience.
- Ability to provide complete coverage for the required assignment dates.
- Ability to independently complete charting and related clinical documentation.
- Availability for weekday shifts, overnight call, and weekend call.
Preferred
- Experience performing ERCP and EUS.
- Familiarity with Paragon and EndoPro EMR systems.
- Experience with Propofol-supported procedures.
