Internal Medicine Physician in Greater Metro Atlanta

About the Job

An established primary care practice is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Greater Metro Atlanta area.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, four or five-day workweek; part-time considered

• Call/weekends: Light call shared among physicians; weekends and major holidays off

• Patient volume: Three patients per hour, with new physicians building a full panel quickly

• Patient population: Adults 18 and older, primarily privately insured patients

• Setting: Outpatient primary care practice with opportunities for expansion throughout metro Atlanta

• Support structure: Dedicated RN team for triage, results calls, and inbox support; nurses for in-office procedures and testing; remote care team; full administrative support for scheduling, prior authorizations, and billing

• EMR: eClinicalWorks with AI ambient recording

• Other key detail: In-office diagnostics, insurance collection rate over 98%, and additional compensation opportunities for physicians who help establish satellite locations

Qualifications

• MD degree from a US medical school preferred, with training in an excellent residency program

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine

• Active Georgia medical license and DEA registration or ability to obtain both

• Two to three years of experience preferred, strong ties to the Atlanta area, and a clean licensing, credentialing, and malpractice history
