- Additional Info: - Join four Geriatricians who support nursing home rounds, along with 7 APPs and 3 full-time nursing staff - Primary responsibilities include overseeing patient care at area nursing homes in post-acute care, long-term care, and assisted living/memory care - Work in close collaboration with the APP team to manage patients' needs - Part-time positions available - Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation - Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine residents - Optional opportunity to moonlight with our urgent care for extra income - Family or Internal Medicine candidates with significant Geriatrics experience or a fellowship-trained geriatrician candidate are welcome to apply - Hospital practice is not required - Physicians will be on call for their nursing home patients during the workday week as needed; however, APPs handle the majority of calls - Physicians rotate "MD Backup Call" between the 4 Geriatricians, serving as a resource to APPs as needed for nights/weekends
