Outpatient Internal Medicine
Conway, SC
Monday–Friday | 36 Clinical Hours | $25K+ Sign-On | PSLF Eligible
A growing primary care network in coastal South Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its established outpatient team. This opportunity offers an adult-focused primary care practice with a balanced schedule, dedicated clinical support, and access to an extensive network of specialists. Position Highlights
Full-time, permanent Internal Medicine opportunity
100% outpatient
Adult patient population, ages 18+
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours per week
Approximately 20–25+ patients per day
1:7–1:8 call rotation
After-hours calls initially triaged through a nurse line
Dedicated nurse and comprehensive clinical support team
Established and growing patient base
Cerner EMR
Dragon dictation
Ambient AI technology for clinical documentation
Strong physician partnership and mentorship model
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive adult primary care
Preventive medicine and wellness visits
Acute adult care
Management of complex chronic conditions including:
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- COPD
- Congestive heart failure
- Chronic kidney disease
Perform appropriate in-office procedures based on training and experience
Skin biopsies and minor dermatologic procedures
Joint injections
Women's health services as appropriate
Coordinate specialty referrals and longitudinal patient care
Collaborate closely with Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and other specialties

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
Current or eligible South Carolina medical license
Interest in comprehensive adult outpatient medicine
Comfortable managing both routine and complex chronic conditions
Strong communication and collaborative-care skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care
