🩺 Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
✅ Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
✅ Develop treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications.
✅ Review laboratory results and diagnostic imaging in a timely manner.
✅ Coordinate specialty referrals and ensure continuity of care.
✅ Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
✅ Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and behavioral health providers.
✅ Mentor clinical staff and students.
✅ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community wellness programs.
✅ Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles and clinic operations.

📋 Required Qualifications

🎓 MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
📜 Active, unrestricted Texas physician license
💊 Current DEA and Texas DPS registrations
❤️ Current BLS or CPR certification for healthcare professionals
📚 Compliance with applicable CME and licensing requirements
🏥 Ability to obtain privileges at designated area hospitals, when required

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical practice experience; qualified candidates with other experience levels may be considered.
• Knowledge of the Texas Medical Practice Act and PCMH principles.
• Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
