Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician – Fortuna, CA

- Location: Fortuna, CA
- Start Date: 10/08/2026
- End Date/Duration: Anticipated ongoing assignment
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours
- Employment Type: W-2, Full-Time
- License/Certs: California Medical License, DEA required before start, Active immunizations
- Experience: 5+ years of clinical practice in internal or family medicine
- Hourly Rate: $1.00 (candidate CVs with relevant experience encouraged to apply)

- Provide primary care services to pediatric and adult patients, focusing on chronic pain management as well
- Perform chart closure within 72 hours for all cases
- See a minimum of 18 patients per day
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
- Manage immunizations and conduct routine health screenings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document accurately and efficiently in electronic health records
- Support patient education and preventive health strategies
Required:
- Active California medical license
- DEA license prior to start date
- Immunizations including flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella Zoster, Tdap
- 5+ years of clinical experience in internal or family medicine
- Strong documentation skills and ability to see both pediatric and adult patients
Preferred:
- Experience with chronic pain management
- BE or DO candidates considered, with less than 5 years since residency
