Client is a growing, independent, physician-led cardiology and primary care practice focused on delivering thoughtful, relationship-based care.

No call. No weekends.

Client is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join our growing team in New York City.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive medicine, acute care, health maintenance, and chronic disease management.

The position offers an opportunity to work closely with in-house cardiologists and other specialists, particularly in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease and related chronic conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking the autonomy and patient relationships of private practice, combined with the clinical resources and collaboration of an integrated care environment.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Primary Care:
Provide high-quality outpatient primary care to adult patients.
Deliver preventive medicine and health maintenance services.
Evaluate and treat acute medical conditions.
Diagnose and manage chronic diseases, including:
Hypertension
Diabetes
Dyslipidemia
Obesity
Other common chronic medical conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs and goals.
Build long-term, trusted relationships with patients.

Integrated Cardiology & Care Coordination:
Collaborate closely with in-house cardiologists and other specialists.
Coordinate care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions and risk factors.
Support comprehensive cardiovascular disease prevention and risk reduction.
Communicate effectively with specialists and the broader care team to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in an integrated approach to patient management.

Clinical Leadership:
Provide clinical guidance and leadership to members of the care team.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve clinical workflows and patient care.
Help shape the continued development of Client as the practice expands.
Support a culture of collaboration, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active, unrestricted New York State medical license.
Active DEA registration.
Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
Experience managing common chronic medical conditions.
Comfort using electronic health records and modern healthcare technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of outpatient or private practice experience.
Interest in cardiovascular prevention and integrated care.
Strong patient relationship-building and care coordination skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with specialists.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday; no call or weekends
