• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,510 - $8,040
• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• End Date: Ongoing coverage needs
• Coverage Need: Flexible scheduling with weekend coverage opportunities
• Call Schedule: Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active physician license required
• DEA registration required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience required
• Experience with cardioversion, TEE, stress echocardiography, and reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echos
• Fellowship training preferred
• Nuclear reads preferred, but not required
• Ability to participate in a screening conversation and interview process

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiology coverage across inpatient and outpatient care settings
• Manage clinic visits and coordinate patient care during scheduled onsite hours
• Participate in weeknight and weekend call coverage as assigned
• Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms
• Support procedural and consultative cardiology care, including cardioversion and TEE
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely, high-quality patient management
• Maintain clear communication throughout the credentialing and interview process
