Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Internal Medicine for Permanent locum tenens coverage at a outpatient facility located in Pueblo, CO
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Open to Open
This assignment includes outpatient clinic, primary care medicine, 36 patient-facing hours per week, and phone-only call with minimal weekend coverage.

Permanent Physician - Internal Medicine
Shift: Days; standard weekday shifts, typically Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Start Date: Open
End Date: Open

Position Details:
Full-time Internal Medicine physician joining a well-established Primary Care Medicine team in Pueblo, Colorado. Collaborative care-team model with access to specialists across the UCHealth network. Potential to empanel patients quickly with clinical MA support for in-basket tasks.

Patient Population: Primary care patients in a diverse, family-oriented and growing community
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient-centered Internal Medicine care; collaborate with physicians, APPs and clinical support staff; participate in a care-team model; manage patient panels; coordinate care with specialists across the UCHealth network.
Required Procedures: Primary care/Internal Medicine clinical care
EMR System:
Support Staff: Clinical MAs and collaborative primary care team
Days Per Month: Standard weekday schedule; 36 patient-facing hours per week
On-Call/Weekends: Phone-only call shared regionally with colleagues; minimal weekend coverage expected

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; truly Board Eligible must finish residency
• Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice — highly preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days — required
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
