Medical Director – Functional, Longevity & Metabolic Medicine
An established private outpatient medical organization in South Florida is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to serve as Medical Director of a growing practice.
This is a hands-on physician leadership opportunity combining direct patient care, clinical leadership, functional medicine, longevity care, metabolic health, preventive medicine, and practice development.
The Medical Director will assume a key clinical leadership role within an established practice and work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.

The practice provides comprehensive outpatient care with an emphasis on:
- Functional and integrative medicine
- Longevity and preventive health
- Medical weight management
- GLP-1 therapy
- Metabolic health
- Hormone and thyroid optimization
- Peptide therapy
- IV therapy
- Men's and women's health
- Regenerative medicine
- Stem cell/exosome therapies
- Botox and aesthetic medicine
- Sexual health
- Diabetes and chronic disease management
- Lifestyle and wellness optimization
Important Clinical Experience Requirement
Candidates should have current, practical experience in at least two of the following three areas:
1. Medical Weight Loss / GLP-1 Management
- Patient evaluation
- GLP-1 prescribing and management
- Treatment monitoring
- Medication adjustments
- Metabolic/weight-management care
2. Stem Cell / Exosome Therapies
- Patient evaluation
- Hands-on injection procedures
- Regenerative medicine treatment
- Appropriate follow-up and monitoring
3. Botox / Medical Aesthetics
- Botox or comparable neuromodulator injections
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Medical aesthetics/med-spa procedures
- Documented procedural competency or formal training
Minimal foundational training is expected; candidates should be comfortable providing these services within their licensure, training, and applicable standards.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct outpatient patient care
Provide clinical leadership for physicians and APPs
Establish and maintain clinical protocols and care pathways
Oversee quality, safety, compliance, and documentation standards
Mentor and support PAs, nurses, and clinical staff
Promote evidence-informed functional and longevity medicine
Participate in medical weight management and metabolic programs
Perform qualifying procedures within appropriate training and licensure
Develop new clinical programs and services
Support practice growth and operational improvement
Maintain strong patient relationships and communication
Participate in physician/staff education
Help optimize clinical workflows and technology utilization
Collaborate with administrative and operational leadership
Support a high-quality concierge/private-pay patient experience
Contribute to the continued development of the practice
Potential opportunity for partnership/equity participation as the relationship develops.
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
Minimum 5 years of clinical physician experience following residency
Current practical experience in at least 2 of the 3 required clinical categories
Strong outpatient and chronic disease management background
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated clinical leadership experience
Comfortable managing approximately 30–50 patient visits per day
Ability to work full-time onsite in the Boca Raton/South Florida area
Ability to begin within approximately 45 days
International Medical Graduates
Internationally trained physicians may be considered with:
Active Florida medical license
Appropriate U.S. Board Certification
All other required credentials

The role is expected to maintain approximately 30–50 patient visits per day, in addition to Medical Director responsibilities.
